Özata Shipyard has delivered the platform support vessels Gharb Al Qurna 1 and Gharb Al Qurna 2, built for the Iraq South Oil Company.

The two platform support vessels, Gharb Al Qurna 1 and 2, constructed from aluminum materials by Özata Shipyard for the Iraq South Oil Company, have been delivered.

Built at Özata’s shipyard in Yalova for the Iraq South Oil Company and designed by Navis Design & Engineering Ship Building, these vessels are 47.5 meters in length and 9.3 meters in width. The depth of the vessels, constructed from aluminum, is 4.3 meters.

Registered under the Iraq flag, Gharb Al Qurna 1 and 2 platform support vessels have the capacity to accommodate 10 crew members and 20 passengers.

Equipped with a CAT 3516C 1920kw 1600rpm main engine, the vessels have a maximum speed of 21 knots and a cruising speed of 19.5 knots.
