Özata Shipyard to Construct Fishing Vessel for Norway
We are pleased to announce that ÖZATA Shipyard and HAVBØR A.Ş. have signed a contract for the construction of a 44-meter-long Purse Seiner and Danish Seiner Fishing Vessel designed by NSK Ship Design. The contract was signed on May 17th in Harstad, Norway. The fundamental specifications of the vessel are provided below.
Length overall: 44.2 m
Length between perpendiculars: 39.85 m
Width: 11.5 m
Depth to shelter deck: 7.3 m
Diesel fuel oil: 120 m3
Fresh water: 24 m3
RSW (Refrigerated Sea Water) tank capacity: 490 m3
RD tank (Fuel Oil): 26 m3
The vessel will be constructed in accordance with DNVGL classification +1A1 Fishing Vessel – E0 and IACS regulations. The ship will be subject to the Norwegian Maritime Authority (NMA) and will have a designated trade area.
