Izmir residents will use the “İzmirim” card for Foça trips as well. The validators at the turnstiles will deduct the specified fees for the journey to Foça from the “İzmirim” card.
6 out of 15 Vessels Have Arrived
A total of 15 vessels ordered by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality from Özata Shipyard in Yalova to enhance maritime transportation are currently in production. So far, six vessels have arrived in Izmir and have been put into service. The last two of these vessels will be equipped to perform outer gulf routes and will be made of ‘carbon composite’ material, which is sturdier than steel, lighter than aluminum, and has a longer lifespan with lower operating costs.
